abba Comillas Apartments

The apartment itself was spacious, very clean and really nice. The patio could be a lovely extra, but it was overgrown and had no furniture. We also found it odd that we had to buy our own toilet paper. Recycling was another disappointment. I understand the town council handles that, but I’d have liked to see the hotel take the initiative and provide recycling bins.

There was plenty of space, but the floors were so dirty that I kept my shoes or socks on the whole time. Noise from outside and the stairwells also made it hard to sleep. The apartment didn’t keep much sound out.

Once we found the place, the stay was good. The map they sent still didn’t point us to the right check-in spot, though it would’ve helped if they’d said to go to the hotel and given directions there. Check-in isn’t possible before 4pm because they’re closed.

The apartment was clean and the location was handy, but it didn’t feel very welcoming for pets. Dogs can’t walk around the grounds, and I got the impression that guests with pets are given fairly ordinary apartments. They also get sweltering in warm weather, so your pet could be very uncomfortable.
