Salamandra Plaza B&B

We really enjoyed this stay in a beautiful white village. The studio is compact and suited to two people, especially for a short visit. It’s right on the main square, with plenty of food shops, cafes and restaurants close by, and free parking in town around the clock. Inside, everything was spotless. The kitchen is simple but well equipped, with a fold-down table and chairs, plus a little extra table and two more chairs. The single beds were comfortable and had good bedding, and the small bathroom had a good shower.

There was a little noise on a couple of nights, but it was New Year and we expected that. The place is small, lovely, and had everything we needed, right in the centre of Cómpeta near all the amenities. Everyone was welcoming, especially the housemaid, who we saw daily. I’ll definitely book again and hope to come back.

From my room, Lucerne, I had lovely views over the main square, and restaurants for breakfast and dinner were just two minutes away. The room was spotless, with quality bedding and a warm duvet that was much appreciated in December. I also liked having a smart TV, fridge for drinks and a Gusto coffee machine. I really enjoyed my stay at this B&B and would happily return. Thanks to the lady who cleans the rooms for keeping mine so clean.

The staff were so kind and helpful, including with information about trekking in the nearby national park. They even mailed the SD-Card I’d lost in the room to my home in Germany, which was super nice of them. I really enjoyed my stay. The spacious room was lovely, with a beautiful photo wall and a balcony overlooking the main square and its cute church. Everything was clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable.
