The house’s history and decor add a lot to the stay, and the location is special too. Marina and Leo were warm, caring, and professional hosts. Leo cooked delicious dinners, while Marina was always on hand with great advice for the day and happily booked activities when we needed her to. Our room was cozy and the bed very comfortable, so we slept well. Breakfast was really good and well balanced, served by Marina with her constant smile. From the patio or our bedroom balcony, we could look straight out at the lake with hills all around. We were lucky enough to see an evening electric storm, which made the scenery unforgettable.

The rooms are very good, and the location is one in a million. Leo, the chef, makes wonderful dinners and breakfast, while Marina looks after all her guests. They’re the kind of hosts you’d want at any hotel.

The views were spectacular over dinner and breakfast, both of which were delicious. The owners are lovely and make you feel at home. It’s a magical place to stay, especially if you want to get away from everyone and take in beautiful landscapes. I’d love to come back.

The location is lovely, with lake and mountain views, and the rural wooden house with its natural stone finishes is very nice. The welcome, though, was awful. The owners, Andrew and Tina, a Catalan couple, made us feel extremely uncomfortable from the start. They came across as intrusive and stingy. While I was cutting a piece of cake from the buffet, Tina came up behind me without even saying good morning, just to tell me discreetly not to take too much because it would dry out. I was furious. It was shameful, miserable and rude. Instead of worrying about how much food guests take from your poor buffet, you should work on that painful welcome. The wonderful setting is the only thing in this place's favor. I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy. The rest deserves to fail. A warm hug 😉
