Chalet Dehesa Villa

For the price, you get a good mix of comfort and cleanliness. I’m an electrician, and some of the lighting installation doesn’t make a great impression to me. The decor could perhaps use a little work too. The sofa right next to the beds feels a bit austere, but otherwise it’s a good place.

The apartment had the basics for 2-3 people, and having a washing machine and iron was handy, even though the iron we got had clearly been misused. It still worked. Everything was very clean and good value, and the staff were attentive and quickly sorted out a couple of small issues. The place was very quiet, with a pool and open-air parking right in front; we probably spent more time at the pool than the beach, and although it was shared, we were nearly always alone. The main downside is needing a car, since the beach is about 2 km away and town about 1 km. A few more bedroom outlets and a hairdryer would have been useful.

It’s a quiet spot away from the center and is well kept. The rooms feel a little dated, but they have all the comforts.

The mattresses were pretty worn, and we really didn’t feel comfortable 😬. There was very little storage in both the kitchen and bathroom, and the toilet paper was limited too.
