El Caseron de Conil & Spa

Antonio really made the stay for us. He was attentive the whole time, even helped sort out a car problem and stayed with us until it was fixed. The place is quiet, clean, and has everything families need. The kids had a great time, and it’s excellent value. We’d happily come back regularly.

You can just show up and settle in, everything’s already there. The kitchen has the basics and then some, from pans and pots to dish soap, sponges, and cloths. There are linens, towels, bathroom supplies, a hairdryer, an iron, and an ironing board too. Each cottage even has an 8-liter bottle of water in the fridge. We had an unforgettable weekend in a calm, clean setting, with a hot tub, Turkish bath, massage services, cold plunge, and outdoor pool with loungers. There’s also a barbecue area, plus swings, a slide, and a trampoline for kids. It’s all set up for a really enjoyable stay.

The jacuzzi, sauna, and Turkish bath were a real highlight, and the warm shower and parking were great too. The cabins suit families with little kids, though they feel tight with older children, and the sofa bed isn’t very comfortable. I also found the pillows a bit firm, and the translucent bathroom door doesn’t give much privacy. The outdoor pool may feel small in peak season. It’d be nice if the partly covered pool were heated and if the spa facilities were open daily, especially in high season. You’ll need a car to get around Conil, which can be a hassle in July-August.

We came during Easter week, when the weather was a little chilly, but the spa area with its hot tub, Turkish bath, sauna, and more meant that didn’t matter. My son even swam in the pool, and we all had a fantastic time. There’s a playground, trampoline, and ping-pong table as well. The rooms and apartment were spotless and comfortable. We love visiting Conil and will definitely return, whatever the season.
