El Rincón de Isabel

The terrace was a real plus, with plenty of covered and uncovered space for sunbathing. It had a clothesline, refrigerator, oven, microwave, sink, tables, chairs, sun loungers, and a cupboard with enough breakfast items for two. The bed was comfortable, there was plenty of wardrobe space, and the stay was good value in a handy location. Check-in and check-out were easy since Isabel lives next door, and it was reassuring that parking was always available nearby. I stayed in the room facing Rosa de los Vientos Street, right below a roundabout with lots of traffic every day, but the thermal and sound insulation were quite acceptable. It’s a good base for visiting much of the Cádiz coast and some inland towns. The downside was having to climb stairs each time I came back. I had an inflamed knee, and even with anti-inflammatories it was quite an effort. Bringing towels from home was also a real hassle, since we stayed 9 nights and needed quite a few.

The room was just right, but bring your own towel and shower gel. If you don’t like firm pillows, pack one of your own too.

The rooms were spotless and the service was excellent. I loved this beautiful place and would highly recommend it.
