Hostal Cabo Roche

The pool area is fantastic, and the staff were really friendly. Everything was very, very clean, too. It’s in a great location, though the bathroom extractor fan is loud and the rooster next door seems to crow nonstop.

We stayed two days in room 107 and loved the relaxing country feel, especially the roosters and the morning views. The terrace was incredible, and the room was spotless and super comfortable. The restaurant food was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a slightly annoying noise from the bathroom light, but you can easily switch it off. I’d definitely come back.

The staff were friendly and the room was clean, but after a week in room 107, I can’t recommend booking it. The bathroom extractor fan starts as soon as you turn on the light, and it’s incredibly noisy. The air conditioning was loud too, with the outdoor unit from other rooms audible inside ours. Our terrace faced a garden full of roosters that crowed at certain times. We asked to change rooms and weren’t allowed, so I had to sleep with earplugs. Sorry to leave a negative review, but I hope they improve this particular room.

A really good deal for the price, with very clean rooms and warm, friendly service. It’s well placed between Conil and Roche, and a great choice for the area if you don’t want to pay much more to stay right on the beach. We’ll be back.
