Oasis de Cádiz

I went with my daughters and had a wonderful stay. María José and Marcelo were attentive the whole time and made sure we had what we needed. The place was clean and just like the photos. It’s a quiet spot, central and close to everything, with the beach about five minutes away and the center about five minutes away too. I’d definitely return, and I’d rate it 11 out of 10. Highly recommend for families or friends.

The staff who brought us towels and toilet paper when we asked were very friendly. We don’t feel misled by the place itself, Oasis de Cádiz, but by Booking, where we booked it. The listing photos didn’t reflect what we paid for: there was no advertised air conditioning or living-room jacuzzi, and the bedroom ceiling fan made an unbearable noise. The pillows were thick, hard, and uncomfortable. Although it was listed as a six-minute walk from the beach and amenities, we had to use the car constantly. Before we arrived, we called three times and were assured each time that our room would be changed and the problems fixed. Neither happened. The stay was uncomfortable and disappointing, and I consider the advertising false.

We’re staying here now. The photos are done really well, but the place is quite different in reality. The apartments are filthy, cleaning is awful, the taps are broken, and there’s no maintenance. It’s dirty everywhere.

They make the place sound great, but it doesn’t match the description. Eight people are crammed into 20 square meters. The cleanliness is appalling and the service is terrible. They don’t even answer the phone. You just get instructions for entering the apartment, then you have to stay whether you like it or not.
