The large garden is fully enclosed by walls, so we had total privacy, and the pool was great with perfectly good water. The house was clean and in excellent condition. It’s well equipped, and when a few small things were missing or broken, Antonio or his brother sorted them out quickly. The satellite TV includes lots of German channels, and the Wi-Fi router gave us fast internet the whole time. We stayed at Antonio's house for six weeks with our dog. The quiet spot suited us well, with cliffs and coves easy to reach and long walks in the nearby nature reserve. Conil, with its many shops and supermarkets, is five minutes away by car, or 15 minutes by bike or e-scooter. Antonio said air conditioning would be installed in the bedrooms after we left, which should be a real plus in summer. We had a fantastic stay and would love to return. The villa had everything we needed, and its quiet spot just outside Conil worked perfectly for our family with 2 small children. It’s still close to the beach and all the amenities. We spent five weeks there with our family, in one of Antonio and his brothers' villas, and had a fantastic time. Antonio is easy to get along with, and his humor and enthusiasm make you feel at ease. Whenever you ask him for something, he sorts it out. He really wants his guests to have a carefree holiday, and he delivered for us. A great guy and an excellent host. The garden and porch were pleasant, the pool was well maintained, and the house was clean when we arrived. The owner was very friendly. We had a few nice days in the area, but the house fell short of what we expected, especially for the rental price, which seemed high compared with other options. We shared these comments with the owner. There were several maintenance problems. The stove was in poor shape and gave the impression of a gas leak, so for safety we kept the butane cylinder closed when it wasn’t in use. The walls were in poor condition, several mosquito nets were damaged, and two windows had none, which made it hard to keep insects out. There were excessive ants despite careful cleaning. The sofas were worn and uncomfortable, and the kitchen lacked basic things like an oil can or salt shaker. There was no dishwasher. The water pressure was low, hot water sometimes wasn’t available, and at times even the toilet wouldn’t fill. The second bathroom is outside the house and reached from the garden. Getting around on foot was inconvenient: the only exit is along a busy road without a sidewalk, the beaches are more than a 30-minute walk away, and the nearest supermarket is over a 10-minute drive.

You’ll need a car to reach the beach, shops, or town. The road to the house has no sidewalk or shoulder, though the setting itself is quiet and it’s about 4 km from Conil. There’s a spacious garden and pool, making it a great family stay. The owner was always attentive and available, with perfect service. The hostel and restaurant they run in town are also well worth recommending for their location, service, and food quality.
