Casa La Fuentecilla

I was extremely disappointed by the way they dealt with us. I had to come to the village for a funeral and was traveling with the funeral convoy. Rather than canceling the booking if they no longer wanted to honor it, they seemed to want to keep the money while refusing us access to the place. I had to flag the problem to Booking. The hosts were the worst people I have ever dealt with for a stay.

The windmills are right across from it.

We were ten people and had plenty of room to be comfortable. The house has a big kitchen and a lovely living room with space for a group, while the bedrooms were comfortable and had what we needed. There was also room to park four cars inside. The owners were very friendly and helped us with everything, making it a great place for a family get-together.

The owner seemed very nice during our stay, but her reaction afterward felt at odds with that. She accused us of leaving little black marks on the doors without first checking with us whether they had been there before we arrived. The apartment itself is pleasantly decorated, though a bit dated, and the setting is lovely, with the picturesque Spanish windmills within walking distance. A nice option for a short stay. As Michelangelo put it, assumptions are the windows you look through. Clean them once in a while, or the light won't get in.
