The shower kept running cold, and they actually suggested we shower in the early hours when fewer people were using it. That was ridiculous. We also found cockroaches on the bedroom ceiling and one of the walls. The bathroom bin hadn’t been changed and was full of paper left by previous guests, which was really unhygienic. The sheets hadn’t been changed either. We reported it, then waited well over an hour. We’d booked a room at one price but were given a cheaper one, and they even charged our account for a room that wasn’t ours. Could a vacation get any worse? I don’t think so.

We were really happy with the apartment. It was quiet, comfortable, clean, and in a good location. The service was very good too. We always travel with our dog, so being somewhere that welcomes pets is essential for us, and pets are welcome here.

We had booked three days and two nights, but the night before, she told us we couldn’t come because the apartment was occupied. She kept blaming Booking.com and seemed not to care about the reservation. Eventually she sorted it out reluctantly, acting like a victim and saying she was doing us a huge favor. She had taken the reservation and then told us we couldn’t come because she had guests. She advertises that pets are allowed, then tried to charge us because she said our dog had covered a cushion in fur. Our dog never gets on the sofa, and we brought his own bed, so why allow pets if she’s going to demand payment for a cushion? She said the owner would contact us about the cushion cover. I’m still waiting for that call. She kept messaging and harassing us through Booking.com chat and WhatsApp, then blocked us once she was completely exhausted, clearly because she knows she’s wrong. The staff member never showed up. The service was incredibly cold, and they let us in right after the previous guests left without changing the sheets, so we had to clean the house ourselves. They even told me to bring my own sheets, all while claiming they were doing us a favor by not charging for one night because other guests were there on our reserved dates. Awful. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

Raquel really pays attention to the little details and was always available. The apartment was in excellent condition and felt very new. It’s in a quiet neighborhood where parking is easy, near the train station and vial norte. The center is a 10-15 minute walk away. We’d definitely stay again.
