This was our second stay at Casa del Cardenal. After the first, we promised ourselves we’d return for a full week, and those seven days made us fall even more in love with the city. We wanted to explore like locals, and left feeling as though we had a home here. You’ll probably be planning your return as soon as you stay. Yanet’s homemade jams and fresh muffins made breakfast wonderful each morning. She’s the chef and the heart of the house, and her warmth made us feel at home from the start. Alfonso was the most attentive host we’ve ever had, always available to arrange taxis, share local recommendations, and make check-in and check-out easy. The whole property feels peaceful, beautifully designed and unmistakably Córdoba, and it was lovely to have access to it all day and night. Casa del Cardenal isn’t just somewhere to sleep, it’s an experience.

The apartment and its sun terrace with a private plunge pool were gorgeous, with Cordoba right behind you. From the first message to the end of the trip, communication was steady and reassuring, so we felt safe throughout. It isn't the cheapest, but the whole stay went smoothly and was fabulous. If you're undecided, book it, you won't regret it.

Alfonso was a lovely, helpful host. We also really liked the modern, beautiful rooms, and the terrace gives you a nice view of the Mezquita. Casa del Cardenal is in a perfect spot, close to all the main sights. A very pleasant stay all around.

The location made it easy to get around, right in the city center and just down the street from the stunning Mosque-Cathedral, with everything else nearby. We booked Jade and Lapis Lazuli, and both rooms were spacious, clean, quiet, and faced outside. The AC worked well, too. Communication on WhatsApp was clear and consistent during our night there, and they answered all our questions. Staff are there during check-in hours, around 9 to 3 I believe, and asked for our arrival time so they could try to meet us. When we arrived, he showed us both rooms and explained the AC, lights, and coffee machine. He was incredibly helpful, suggested excellent places for dinner, and arranged a taxi for checkout the next morning. The rooftop was cute, though rain meant we didn't spend time up there. We'd definitely stay again in Cordoba and recommend it.

The room had plenty of space, with a sofa, small fridge, stove, pans, and dishes. The shower was nice and everything was very clean. We were also just a block from the Mesquita, the bridge, restaurants, and an easy walk from the city center. We booked at the last minute and had only a few reviews to go on, but from the moment we arrived the welcome made us feel important. The experience went beyond what we expected. I only have good things to say and would absolutely recommend it. One detail: to reach the road where the hotel is, we had to press a button for access because traffic is restricted.
