Dinner in the restaurant was the one real letdown. Pizza was listed on the menu in our room but wasn’t available, and when we tried to order a salad from the menu card, the waiter seemed confused and said they didn’t have that either. That left us with few options. We hadn’t booked dinner, though, so my five stars are for the hotel stay. The room was very clean and a decent size. Parking involved a tiny, steep driveway, but staff drove our car up, so it wasn’t a problem. The hotel is quite far from the city center, so bear that in mind. The stay itself was better than a one-star hotel, and even better than some three-star places we’ve stayed.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. My room had everything I needed to freshen up and head back out into the city. Highly recommend.

The staff spoke little or no English, but they were very hospitable, and we managed fine with a bit of help from Google Translate. We had a simple traditional breakfast in the cafe, though we didn’t try the restaurant or bar. The triple room was a bargain compared with the very traditional, outdated hotels nearby, and I’d definitely recommend staying here. I think the hotel may have been renovated recently because the interior looked fresh and new. I liked the modern style, and the room was clean, with good beds, air-conditioning, a TV and a nice bathroom. There’s paid indoor parking, though the entrance is steep. I didn’t miss anything.

The place has been renovated, the staff are nice, and I’ve been there several times for breakfast and dinner. Recommended.
