The main problem is that the room I received was completely different from the one shown when I booked. It felt shabby and depressing, with almost no light, just a tiny window, and it was below ground level. I felt deceived, though it wasn't your fault. Please don't book this hotel and risk your vacation. When are you likely to be back in Córdoba? For this price, there are plenty of better hotels nearby.

This was one of the best places we stayed on our Spain road trip. Friendly owners, a good breakfast, and a nice location. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and great value too. A++++++++.

The lovely patio is a highlight, with breakfast in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. Our room was on the ground floor facing a pedestrian street, so motorcycles and the garbage truck sometimes made it noisy at night. The furniture was quite old, although the room matched the photos and suited the historic surroundings. I first fell for Hotel San Miguel when I found it on Booking. It's a well-preserved historic building in central Cordoba that gives you a taste of Spanish life. The hosts prepared a simple breakfast for us each morning, and it felt like a gift. Staying here brings you into old Cordoba and makes you feel like a local, which is exactly why I'd choose it.

There was a constant urine smell from the bathroom drain, and the wardrobe smelled bad too. We reported it. They cleaned, but the odor remained, and nobody offered another solution. Very poor.

The historic center location was really handy, with plenty of buildings to explore and restaurants nearby. It's a nice boutique hotel, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast service was due to start in May '24. Highly recommended.
