Manuel, the owner, was very attentive, and breakfast was excellent, with homemade bread and jams. He also makes his own craft beer, which was pretty tasty. The room was well kept, with AC and heat. The bed was firm, so it’s a good fit if you like that kind of mattress. A receptionist gave us a map at check-in with information and recommendations for places to visit and eat. This gem is in the central historic district, about a 10-minute walk from most sights in any direction.

The breakfast was delicious, with lots of fruit, homemade bread and preserves, and fantastic coffee. The receptionist also gave us plenty of ideas for what to see and where to eat. Our rooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated, and all the staff were extremely friendly. You can tell they work hard to make guests’ stays enjoyable. A huge thank you to everyone for making ours so good. It’s a fantastic place to stay in Cordoba.

We felt comfortable and well looked after during our stay. Breakfast was plentiful and served at the table by the manager, a thoughtful touch. The old town and Jewish quarter are only a few minutes away on foot, while the hotel itself sits on a quiet side street. Even with windows that didn’t seal very well and furniture that was somewhat worn, our room stayed fairly quiet. The building is an older tiled manor house, with a lovely open courtyard and fountain beside the breakfast room. The rooms are attractively furnished. Driving there was complicated: because of roadworks, the road is currently only open halfway at a time, and you have to exit against the usual traffic flow. The otherwise helpful manager assured us it wouldn’t be a problem. It’s best to reserve parking ahead, as there are only a few spaces in a fenced property about 300 metres away.

The homemade breakfast was a highlight each morning, carefully prepared and full of flavour. The building is full of character, beautifully restored, with thoughtful little details that make it feel charming right away. The hospitality was warm, attentive, and welcoming from the start. We left feeling relaxed and appreciated, and we’re already planning to return.
