At €40 a night, I expected more, at least a private bathroom and a TV. There weren't TVs in the rooms, which I don't necessarily mind, but five of us were offered one small bathroom on our floor and another small one downstairs, while they wanted to keep the large bathroom closed. The employee was rude and wouldn't listen. The advertising is misleading: the pool in the photos is the municipal pool, and of course you have to pay to use it, as you'd expect. The person who first checked us in lives downstairs. That's not a problem, but it should be mentioned so people know what to expect if they don't want to stay there. She was a very kind older lady, clearly busy looking after guests despite her age. The manager seemed ashamed of her and scolded her for not knowing which rooms to open. I won't be back.

Just sharing this so others don't end up confused like we were. The photos make it look as if the house has a garden and pool, but it has neither, and there's no garage or carport for a vehicle either. We thought €400 would get five people the whole house. It doesn't: only three bedrooms are opened at that price. All five cost another €140, payable in cash there. So the starting price isn't for the entire house, despite what you might think when you first read the listing. The fine print does warn about it, but I'm posting this today to help clarify things. The owners or managers live on the ground floor, which should be mentioned. If you're after privacy, it's impossible. And the Booking.com photos are completely misleading about the pool: it's the town's municipal pool, not one at the house. I don't understand why they're using those pictures.

Right in the center of Corduente, this rural house has mountain views and sits among wonderful routes for trekking and sightseeing.
