Sara at the bar was consistently professional, kind, and attentive, and she made the place feel welcoming. The reception staff were responsive and professional too. The room itself was modern and well equipped, but upkeep needs attention: we had no hot water the first night, the wallpaper was scratched, worn, and peeling, and there was no complimentary water. The rooms should be maintained to the same standard as the staff.

We found the area peaceful, with good connections by metro, train, and tram. It’s outside Barcelona’s very centre, so there were fewer tourists and less noise than around the main sights, and we slept well after days of sightseeing. One evening we came back from a trip wanting a bite before bed and were short on cutlery, but the staff kindly lent us a full set. Since our flight was later in the evening, we also left our luggage at reception after checkout; they tagged it so it wouldn’t get lost or picked up by mistake. We’d gladly recommend this hotel for a Barcelona stay.

My room was quiet, comfortable, and clean, and I slept really well. The staff were so kind and helpful. When I checked out, the woman at the desk, I think her name was Anna, offered me complimentary coffee and snacks for the next part of my journey. We had a lovely conversation, and I won’t forget how kind she was.

Miriam, the overnight receptionist, was especially helpful. When the hotel had no adaptor for my phone and laptop, she lent me her own charger, and she also suggested some good places to eat and see in Barcelona. My room was comfortable, though I still felt a bit chilly at times even with the heating set to its highest setting. Breakfast cost 15 euros and was well worth it, with plenty to choose from, fresh pastries, assorted teas, and an espresso machine. The train station is a convenient six-minute walk away. I stayed two nights, had a very good experience, and would come back.
