Casas Rurales Prieto

The owner made us feel welcome right from the start and was always happy to help. He also let us meet the farm animals, including horses, goats, alpacas, dogs, and donkeys. That was especially unforgettable for the little ones. We spent two days here with family or friends, and the house was roomy and comfortable, with plenty of space to unwind. The terrace was a highlight, with a nice table and incredible views. It was lovely for breakfast outside or a barbecue. We’d love to come back. It’s a special place if you’re looking for nature, a relaxing break, and warm hospitality.

The little terrace at the entrance has a barbecue, and we had a really good cookout there. We were four people staying in House II in the village of Cortes. It’s a cozy house with everything we needed. There’s one double bedroom and another with two single beds, both with their own bathrooms, plus a sofa bed and toilet downstairs. The owner also runs the Prieto Zoo on a farm near Cortes, which guests can visit. Goats and alpacas live there, and a friendly mastiff keeps watch. We’d highly recommend staying here.

The farm animals were a big draw for the kids, and now they’re already asking when we can come back. We were delighted with our week at Casa II. José was kind and attentive, and the setting felt idyllic. The house had everything, we didn’t go without a thing. 100% recommended! 😀

We all had a wonderful time here, including our dog, on a family trip. The house is beautiful, and the surroundings feel like pure Asturias. José, the host, was lovely. We’ll definitely be back, 100% recommended.
