The pools were good, and there was a lifeguard on duty. The beach is just a very short walk away. Rooms feel modern, and everyone seemed friendly. Breakfast was delicious, with eggs, cereal, bread, and good coffee to choose from. It’s a huge hotel, probably the biggest in Matalasçanas, so the corridors can get noisy. Still, a good choice.

The main drawback for me was the food. The cereal tasted stale, so at breakfast I mostly stuck to toast or savory things like sausages and eggs. At dinner, pasta was about the only thing I enjoyed. Tastes differ, of course, and the rest of the hotel was very good. It’s a three-star hotel right by the beautiful Atlantic beach, with a large pool and plenty of games and activities. Inside, it’s modern and attractive, with big, bright rooms and a spacious cafeteria. There’s a bar there too, where evening activities happen with music and lights.

The common areas and lobby are roomy and comfortable, and our spacious room had a great ocean view. The room itself could use some renovation, but the hotel was decent overall.
