The photo shows the building at street level, with the magnificent mountain-top church in the middle of the skyline. The hotel and restaurant were excellent, everything spotless, and the people were efficient and very friendly. The food, including breakfast, was great and good value too. I gave the room four stars while everything else got top marks because, next to all that excellence, the rooms were fine but the walls were a little thin and hot water took a while to arrive. But it does arrive.

Loved our 3-night stay! The staff were super friendly, the food was delicious, and omg, THE BEST BREAKFAST!!! They were so well prepared. The rooms just need a bit of refreshing and it’ll be perfect❤️

The staff and location were excellent, and the breakfast that came with the stay was great too. We also ate at the hotel restaurant. The service and food were both outstanding. Even with the place fully booked and the staff clearly busy, the waiters remembered every guest and served everyone incredibly quickly. Thanks so much for all your wonderful work!

We slept really well in our first-floor room at the front of the hotel. It was very clean, overlooked the restaurant’s glass roof, and though we wondered if the noise might be a problem, it was absolutely fine. The bed was super-sized. Our restaurant meal was okay, breakfast was very nice, and the stay was excellent value. The location is beautiful. Driving through the gorge to get there was spectacular, even in low cloud.

The staff were super friendly, and the food was amazing. I loved the cheese salad and lamb stew, and the torrija con arroz con leche dessert was absolutely mouth-watering.
