The hotel is cozy, the staff were very kind, and our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We were a little concerned about noise because people were chatting and having drinks at the bar terrace just outside, but it was quiet indoors. Breakfast had a bit of everything, including fresh, tasty fruit, and was served in a room that looks like it came straight out of a medieval painting. We had a great stay. A little historical curiosity: although it isn't widely advertised, the hotel hosted Clint Eastwood while The Good, The Bad and The Ugly was being filmed nearby.

Covarrubias is a lovely town, and there are lots of nice places to visit nearby. I've stayed at this fantastic hotel a couple of times and will definitely come back when I'm in the province of Burgos. The staff are friendly and charming, the food is amazing, breakfast has plenty of variety, and the facilities are generally very good. I highly recommend it.

I only came for dinner, but the service was phenomenal, a 10/10. They offered me several dishes that weren't on the menu or à la carte list. I'd recommend it.

Such a lovely restaurant, but it was a shame there were so few staff serving at the bar when I was in Covarrubias this weekend. The waitresses looked overwhelmed and couldn't do any more. They were clearly short-staffed. Then people complain that the hospitality industry is struggling. Hats off to the waitresses, but the hotel management gets a failing grade from me.
