Hotur Via Augusta

Good price, good service and a convenient location. The nearest train station is 4 km away, though.

The place was lovely, spacious, quiet and had good air conditioning. I hadn't heard the noise mentioned in some other reviews. The communal pool is a little small, but perfectly fine for a relaxing dip and very well kept. We booked just an hour before arriving, and the woman at the office took great care of us, with excellent service and attention to detail. The next day we asked for a toaster and blender since the kitchen was missing those utensils, and they brought them without any trouble. Such a good attitude, a 10 for the service. We had an incredible stay and will definitely come back!

The air conditioning was one good thing, but the thin walls meant we could hear EVERYTHING the neighbors were doing. The townhouse also needs renovation and better hygiene for what it costs. We moved the sofa and found a shocking amount of trash, and the balcony/terrace smelled of urine. I did see them cleaning the pool, but we chose to go to the sea instead. We had a terrible stay as a family, with our children. The circuit breakers kept tripping and the power went out for unclear reasons. It seemed as if someone might be deliberately trying to sabotage the owners, but how is that our fault as customers? The price and condition didn't match, and I expected more. Just another bad experience for us. Thanks, and I hope they take the feedback and make better use of these apartments. 🤔

Check-in was quick, easy and courteous. For a week, the place was adequate, and the air conditioning was a plus in summer. The amenities were fine, too. The residence is in a very quiet area, maybe too quiet. You'll need a car. Tarragona is 10 minutes away and Salou 20, where it's much livelier. Your stay also depends on the other residents. The families I came across were calm, but disrespectful neighbors could make it a very unpleasant stay.
