The staff were so welcoming and helpful, second to none. We loved this little site above Cudillero. Since we had a large unit, we pitched near the bar and entrance. It rained quite a bit, so we spent a couple of evenings playing scrabble and enjoying their cognac. We drove down the steep road into town for breakfast a couple of mornings. Parts of town are a bit run down, but it’s great for an early walk, and there’s a large car park at the end of the harbour area. Supermarkets nearby were very reasonably priced.

We’re here out of season, so lots of things are closed, though I can imagine this being a great family site in summer, with plenty to do. Even now the facilities are good, with very clean showers and toilets and nicely arranged, fairly level pitches. There’s a bar/café with limited hours, and WiFi is available there. You can also order bread and cakes each day. Special mention to the young lady at reception. She’s so happy, friendly, and helpful. Whatever she’s paid, it’s not enough.

A handy spot for a quick stop, with nice pitches and a pleasant bar area. The staff were friendly and spoke good English, and the shower was good. There was paper and soap in the toilet, and everything was clean and very quiet. It rained during our stay, so we didn’t get to see much of the area on foot. The pool was closed, though we wouldn’t have wanted to use it in that weather anyway.

The facilities were extremely clean, and it was great to have the toilets in a separate area from the showers. Pitches were good, and the reception staff were super friendly and helpful. Bread and croissants were available every day. The town is within walking distance too. We had a great stay and thoroughly recommend it.

It’s a large campground with lots of cabins, a playground, a paddle court, and more. Walking your dog before 8 in the morning is very difficult because the gates are closed.
