It’s a roomy house with pleasant outdoor areas, but the condition put me off. There was dirt on the household fabrics and chairs, and in the kitchenware too, including a pot with rotten food. The towels and sheets were very worn. Some furniture was broken, like a bed frame missing several slats, and other pieces felt close to breaking, including the chair backs. I wouldn’t rent it again while it’s in this state.

There’s plenty of space, but the upkeep was awful. The furniture was badly worn and held together with nails and glue. Latches, bed slats, and faucets came loose or stuck in your hands when used. I also found a pot full of rotten food, and some sheets smelled of sweat. Everything felt in terrible condition.

We’d happily come back. The house was beautifully decorated, well equipped, and had excellent climate control. Simply fantastic.

It’s a spacious house in a good location, and the materials seem to be good quality. It must have been an incredible mansion when it was built. But the furniture, doors, bathrooms, kitchen, and the rest haven’t been repaired or restored over the years, so the place feels neglected.
