Ellie made us feel at home as soon as we arrived, then showed us around this beautiful hotel right in the heart of town. She explained everything carefully before leaving us to settle into our lovely room, with its four-poster bed overlooking the pool. The breakfast and evening meal we had there were beautifully presented, skilfully prepared and made with fresh ingredients. Ellie is a talented cook who clearly wants her guests to enjoy the food. What an amazing find. We came away from our weekend full of energy and enthusiasm for the place. Keep up the great work, success is sure to follow.

Ellie's kindness really made the place for me. She was generous and accommodating, and her genuine warmth seemed to fill the Palacete. The place is breathtaking, even lovelier than the photos, and I'm so happy I booked. I left already looking forward to coming back. ❤

The views are absolutely stunning, and the location is really interesting. For breakfast, I'd skip the extra cost since there are lovely local restaurants near the castle. A beautiful, relaxing spot for a weekend in Almanzora. I'll definitely stay again.

Ellie hosted and cooked for us at the wonderful restaurant last night. The festive menu was excellent, with a great choice of wines, and the vegan and vegetarian food was such a pleasure to eat. We also got a look around parts of the fantastic building and saw the full moon from the top terrace. A truly special evening, couldn't recommend it more.

We only spent two days here and loved it. It's a renovated old house in the middle of the old town, with each room built around its own theme and story. You can feel how much thought and heart went into the place. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are perfect, and the atmosphere is great. The lady of the house is amazing too. Great value for money.
