Casa El Laurel is a good size and has spectacular views, though the cleanliness needs some work. Parts of the kitchen weren’t clean, there was a gas smell in the shower, and the pool needed a proper cleaning. Otherwise, the owner was incredibly attentive, and it was a perfect place for a relaxing getaway in the Sierra de Gredos mountains.
We won’t be coming back. The house was quite run down, the kitchen was dirty, the beds were incredibly uncomfortable, and the pool was dirty too. It was also impossible to sleep because of the heat. Not recommended at all!
The pool and barbecue area are wonderful, and you can park right by the door in the private parking area. The house is very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed and modern decor. The owner is lovely and went out of her way to make sure our stay was perfect. Everything was great, and we’ll definitely be back! 👌
The village is pretty and only about a 10-minute walk away. We rented the whole house and thought the price was fantastic for all the amenities and services. It’s well kept inside and out, and equipped for a large group, with plenty of pots in different sizes, big barbecue trays, sun loungers, glasses, and lots more for everyone. The barbecues were excellent, the pool was spotless, and the woman managing the place was incredibly helpful. We had no complaints at all.
The only possible drawback is that it’s two houses, one above the other, but the other guests were respectful and I had a very good experience with them. I loved the place, and the owner was lovely. I’ll most likely be back next year.
