The room wasn't clean, and the staff service was terrible. The cleaning lady was rude, saying, "I'm not mopping anymore because people keep coming in," even though we'd asked her just minutes earlier where we could walk or whether we should wait for the floor to dry. The terrace looked nothing like the photos, and the views were dark and terrible. There were open water bottles left by previous guests, and the room hadn't even been swept. The light switches were covered in grime. In the bathroom, the bin was broken, the sink faucet was filthy, and the shower screen was even worse. They provided a large bed but no blankets. When we asked for some, we got dirty ones that smelled awful. The location is good if you want to enjoy the beach, but that's about it.

I had such a good stay that after one night I booked another straight away. The staff were friendly, professional, and polite, and reception was great. The place has been renovated, feels modern, and has a café and a lounge where you can relax. Everything was really clean, and the shower was roomy and pleasant. The mattresses were comfortable, with two pillows per person, and the fresh bedding was warm. Heating worked perfectly, and there was a new TV with satellite. I liked having a balcony and a capsule coffee machine. They also provide bottled water, tea, chamomile, and coffee capsules. There's a fridge and a safe, though I could've used a bit more wardrobe space. The only things I wasn't keen on were the lack of decent bedside tables and the few outlets being far from the bed. The hairdryer outlet is next to the toilet instead of by the mirror. I loved my stay and will be back. Thanks for being so kind and attentive.

The room was cozy and the mattresses were comfortable, so I really enjoyed the stay. I did notice one small problem: in the double room, the toilet had a very weak flush and took over 10 minutes to refill. I assume it's to save water, which is fine, but it wasn't enough for normal use. Other than that, everything was great.

We chose the breakfast buffet for €15. It was a tray with three slices of Bimbo bread, two mini croissants, and cold cuts that smelled like anything but fresh. When we asked about eggs, scrambled eggs, or anything cooked, we were told there was no cook. So we went out to get breakfast instead. The receptionist seemed embarrassed and told me to ask for a refund. I did, but then they said the buffet had been available and I simply hadn't wanted it. I hadn't taken a photo of that €15 spread, but I wish I had, so people could see it. The extra €30 isn't going to break me, but the whole thing felt like a rip-off. I'd be ashamed to be responsible for such a disastrous hotel and let this happen. I should've read the reviews before booking through Booking.com. The other problems have already been covered in a thousand reviews praising the hotel's "virtues".

The room was a complete mess. It felt like the floor, shower, and room hadn't been cleaned in ages. The bathroom was filthy, the shower tray was dirty, and the faucets were rusty. There were no outlets by the bed, and the bedside table was too small even for the key card. The floor was completely black, and there was no fitted sheet, just a regular one that kept slipping off. In mid-October, there wasn't a blanket, only another sheet to keep you cold. The hole at the back of the room that they called a closet was worse than things I've seen in the trash. The hotel seemed lovely when we walked in, but the room was appalling. I hope they close down. We'd booked a reservation that could be canceled up to two days before arrival. The night before, a family member had an accident, and I wanted to stay with them. Free cancellation was no longer automatic, but Booking.com had an option to request it. Since it was a high price, I contacted the hotel by email and phone. The receptionist was very friendly and said he'd ask his supervisor. Later, he called and emailed to say they couldn't grant a free cancellation because of Booking.com's policies. I called Booking.com, and they said that wasn't true: they wouldn't penalize me or the hotel, and given the circumstances, they could cancel it for free. I called the hotel back to ask again, and they said they'd look into it. The next morning, just before I was due to go, I called and they said no, they wouldn't cancel because they didn't want to lose the money. They were incredibly low and mean.
