Exe Cunit Suites & Spa

The room itself was spotless, but I won’t be returning. We booked a suite with a kitchenette and lounge, yet the cupboards were empty, with no utensils or anything to use, not even a kettle. We ended up using the door frame to open a bottle. The pool was really tiny and shallow, so it’s okay for kids, but the area was small and enclosed. Screaming kids ruined the atmosphere. I didn’t get what we paid for, and I’m tired of complaining because it gets me down, so I just put up and shut up.

The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were spacious and clean. The beach is beautiful and shallow, great for children. Cunit Train station is close, with some good local bistros across from the hotel. Still, it was a solid stay without anything that made me think, “Wow, this is really a 4-star hotel.” The kitchenette was pretty useless unless you brought your own things, since there was no cutlery, kettle, or dishes. There’s no laundry service or hotel activities to book. The snack bar only ran from 2pm till 8pm and service was kind of slow. Breakfast had little variety and barely changed, apart from one cake, so by the third day we were a bit tired of it. The location isn’t the best without a car. Cunit is quiet, and there’s no direct train to places like PortAventura. You can’t even call a taxi there. Thanks for having us nonetheless!

The staff were unpleasant and seemed to be after extra money from customers. Check-out was at 12, but they wanted to charge me to stay just 15 minutes longer in the room. The breakfast was the worst I’ve seen in my life and wasn’t worth it. The rooftop pool was only half a meter deep, not even for children, and despite the spa listing, there was no spa. Very bad hotel 😞

The price is very good, and the rooms are spacious and clean. It’s a 4 stars hotel in a quiet area.
