A relaxing spot for a drink or a meal with good company. The building is beautiful, the people are lovely, and the food is lovely too. The owner is very nice and friendly, and granny is lovely.

The village residents seem to eat at the various restaurants in and outside the hostel, so it’s quite a popular spot. The owner was very friendly, and I got a room with three beds all to myself and a large bathroom. Dinner and breakfast were included. For €58, how can you complain? It’s a very beautiful beachside village.

The restaurant and staff were amazing, extremely friendly, and the place is on the outskirts of Barcelona. We took the train from Barcelona and enjoyed the nice scenery along the beach. For €32,00, we got seasonal onions roasted on the roots grill, available from November to March, and they were amazing. I’m vegetarian and had a big plate of roasted vegetables, while my friends had a nice plate of assorted meats. Dessert was homemade Catalan Cream, like custard but much better. Wine from the house, cava, natural water, and sparkling water were all you could drink.

This is an old place dating from 1515, not an up-to-date, all-singing hotel, but it served a tremendous dinner. They took good care of our bikes securely. The rooms could use some money spent on them, Wi-Fi was poor upstairs, and the bathrooms were small. Breakfast was just about acceptable for the price. A bit of a mixed bag!
