Such a pretty, cosy place. They'd put a crib in the room for my baby, complete with a tiny bathrobe, which was super cute.

Just steps from the spa, Hotel Castro do Balneario has a lovely garden and wonderful homemade food. It's a beautiful hotel in a traditional Galician house, with lovely rooms, comfortable beds, and exceptional service from all the staff. Thanks to everyone for making our return visit so enjoyable!

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with lovely rustic decor, and came with a bathrobe and swim cap. We stayed one night using the offer on the spa's website, and I thought it was a great, very reasonable price. The breakfast buffet was very good and dinner was excellent. I'd definitely return.

The receptionist was very kind and helpful, as were the other staff at the spa. Still, the way our visit unfolded was a bit inconvenient. On January 2nd, we had bought tickets for eight people, four adults and four children, for 11:00 AM on the 1st, since the website let us book that time. When we arrived, the spa was shown as closed until 4:00 PM. The receptionist apologized and said we could come back at 4:00 PM without rebooking because of the inconvenience. In the end, after getting a refund, we had to pay again in the afternoon. That's normal and understandable, but if she hadn't said we could enter for free, we would have planned the day differently.

Why does the listing say pets are allowed, then say no when you ask? I asked about this last year too, so the information has been outdated at least since then. It would be great if they updated it to avoid confusing people who are interested.
