We had a great time here. The house feels warm and cosy, with a huge living room and a dining table, and there are lovely views from this peaceful spot. Table football and darts kept us entertained. Next time, I’ll make time to try the jacuzzi.

The owners were so friendly and ready to help whenever we needed something. We had a fantastic family long weekend over All Saints' Day, and everything was very clean. The rooms were lovely and we slept really well. The house itself is wonderful, especially the living room and its magnificent indoor barbecue. I’d happily recommend it, both for the house and for the lovely towns nearby.

The bedroom with the four-poster bed had a lot of mold on the ceiling, which felt completely unacceptable to me in a house where we were staying with four children. It’s also worth knowing that the bedrooms are separated from the kitchen and dining area. That can help when people have different bedtimes, but having to get out of bed and go outside to get downstairs for breakfast was quite a chore. There were good things too. The village is very close to Peñafiel, and there are plenty of beautiful places for walks nearby. The house was clean and tidy, and we all enjoyed the games. There were lots for adults and children, from the foosball table, which was our favorite, to the darts and several little games. If this review helped, please give it a like ☺️ Thanks!

The riverbanks of the Duero and the surrounding landscape make for a beautiful setting for a weekend with friends or family. The house is fully equipped downstairs, with games, a fireplace, and an outdoor barbecue for enjoying meals. Upstairs there are four bedrooms with good mattresses, two bathrooms, and a jacuzzi. Peñafiel is only five minutes away, with wineries, a castle to visit, and wine tastings. A great choice if you’re looking for a weekend near Valladolid. Highly recommended.

One thing to keep in mind is that the two floors are separate and linked by an outside staircase, which may or may not suit you. We found the house clean, roomy, comfortable, and well equipped, with enough space for 8-9 people. The jacuzzi is the drawback for me. It should be included in the price instead of costing extra to use. Still, I’d recommend the place for exploring the area’s villages and wineries, or for hikes and other outdoor activities.
