The restaurant is the highlight here: the food was delicious, especially the superb leg of lamb, and the steaks were huge and tasty. Beers in the busy public bar are very cheap, and each comes with delicious tapas. The rooms, though, were clean but really dated. We booked a double bed and got two singles, the air conditioning was noisy, and the Wi-Fi was unreliable in the bedroom, seeming to work properly only downstairs in the public bar. The shower had plenty of hot water. It was our first stay while visiting Daimiel, at about €39 a night. There are better places closer to the centre, but the restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
