Apartamentos Gandia-Daimuz 3000

It was really quiet day and night, and the beach is only a five-minute walk away. The communal pool was a big bonus on hot days. It's not a luxury apartment, but it has everything you need for a few days or even a week away. Truly wonderful.

The place is very old, with only the bathroom renovated, and there’s no lift. They don’t warn you about the stairs, which matters if you’re bringing a baby stroller. It’s not cheap for somewhere so poorly equipped: no toaster, the pans looked scary, the TV was laptop-sized, and there was no hand soap. The key pickup and drop-off are in the next town, and the checkout time is especially early, at 10. There wasn't a fan when we arrived, which makes no sense for Daimuz’s climate. I bought one, then found that the only bedroom socket didn’t work. The kitchen door handle was broken and trapped us inside when it shut by accident. Later the same thing happened with the bathroom door. I love Daimuz and will definitely come back, but not to these apartments.

Not recommended. Halcón Viajes (Navalcarnero) reviewed Apartamentos 3000.com, and they had no interior photos of the property. We asked for a two-bedroom apartment in Gandía with no stairs, since someone in our party uses a wheelchair. When we collected the keys at Apartamentos 3000, Avenida Armada Espanyola, 2, they only then told us the apartment was in Daimus, at Avinguda Roger de Lauria, 29, Edificio CAMPOS II. It was half an hour from the office by car, so we had to take a taxi. The apartment had three bedrooms, but first we had to climb nine steps. It was old and smelled strongly of damp, with no air conditioning or fan unless you rented their small air conditioner for €12.50 a day. Outrageous. We paid €1,650 plus a €150 deposit, which we hadn't been told about in case of damage. The bidet leaked, the bathtub was dirty, the toilet cistern didn't work, the main lock was faulty, and the freezer didn't work. The mattresses were terrible, and the pillows were just empty cushions. Fortunately, the disabled person couldn't move around; otherwise, their stay would have been chaotic. The staff at Apartamentos 3000 were uninformed. The manager on duty was arrogant and insolent, and refused to give us a complaint form.

The service was terrible, and so much was broken. The clotheslines were rusty and damaged, and the beds were uncomfortable. They had foam instead of mattresses, so when you lay down your bones hit the bed frame. There were no towels or cloths, and the beds weren't made. I could keep listing things forever. The place needs a complete renovation.
