Staying at Hotel Des Puig made us feel connected to Deià in a way that a visit to the beautiful village alone wouldn’t. The service, staff, location, and rooms were among the highlights of our Mallorca trip. By the end, we didn’t want to leave. We’ll definitely stay here again when we return to Mallorca.

My husband and I have stayed here several times, and it remains our first choice whenever we visit. The views are stunning, with no comparison. On this visit, Lucien, who manages the property, really stood out for the warmth, care, and professionalism he brought to every situation. He goes above and beyond to help guests have a great stay. Credit to the whole hotel team. This hidden gem never disappoints, and I highly recommend it.

We stayed in room 24 on the top floor, a lovely, spacious suite with a sofa, king bed, fridge, desk, and large ensuite. A really nice boutique hotel.

That view was a highlight of our six nights here. From our superior double room’s terrace, we looked over the mountainside, and waking up to it each morning felt magical. The pool and breakfast area have the same incredible outlook. People pay a lot to dine at Deia’s restaurants for a view like this. Our room was spacious, with a modern but traditional style. The property has two buildings separated by the pool; we were in the second building, overlooking the houses and the view, and I’d ask for that one if possible. The hotel’s abundant breakfast buffet is included. They had packaged gluten free bread and a muffin each day, though you have to ask. There’s no restaurant onsite, but you can buy drinks and snacks from the fridge and frozen desserts from the freezer, then pay for what you take. A local convenience store is just down the road. Staff clean regularly, and daily room service makes the bed and takes away garbage. Deià is a charming little town with around a dozen restaurants and some shops. It’s also a good base for nearby Sóller and Valldemossa, and Palma is about 40 minutes by car. There’s free guest parking, but the lot is small and reached via a tight street, so a small rental car is ideal. The stay exceeded our expectations and felt like great value. Food, service, room, and that view were all fantastic. It felt private and upscale without being stuffy or pretentious. Highly recommend for a Mallorca stay.
