I hate that I can't leave a positive review this time. I’m from Barcelona, so I’m not a regular, but whenever I used to come to Deltebre for the weekend, I’d go for dinner because I love the sandwiches. This visit didn’t work out. The way I was spoken to when asking for a table felt discourteous, and I left. Congrats on doing so well, but please show people some courtesy. Since you replied that I can’t write, I’m editing this. I didn’t cut in line. I asked the young man there whether there was a table for two for dinner, and we told him what we wanted. Then you came in and asked if I’d jumped the queue. Anyway, I do appreciate you taking the time to respond.

The burgers are well made and fairly priced, and the restaurant is tidy and clean. There are specific menu options for celiacs and vegans, which makes it especially worth recommending. Highly recommended.

I’d been a customer for five years or more and often had dinner here with my family. Things changed about a year ago, when I went to pick up sandwiches and the owner’s son, who was taking orders, said he couldn’t make them half an hour before closing. I let it go at the time. A few months later, he treated us just as badly while we were seated at a table, and after that we stopped coming as often. Last night, at 9:45 pm, I called about six times and got no answer. I decided to go in and order instead. There were large tables, so I figured he might simply have been too busy to answer. He went to take an order, then came back to answer my call with excuses. I said I wanted takeaway and understood if the kitchen needed time because it was busy. He said, “Let me ask my father.” It was 10:05 a.m. I waited, but never saw him ask his father. Ten minutes later, he came over and asked how many sandwiches I wanted. I said two, and he replied that if it was only two, I didn’t need to ask his father. He asked again, said something else, and I repeated, “Just two sandwiches.” Then he said he could only make them with chicken. I politely said no, thanks. As I turned to leave, he called, “Hey, hey, wait!” I got even angrier when people stared at me after he called out. I turned around and told him I didn’t want anything.

September 21, 2024: I still stand by what I said about the Black Angus burger. The meat is incredibly tender and buttery, and the burger is unbeatable. It’s a great place to have a delicious dinner with friends without spending much. I highly recommend the Black Angus burger.
