Can Pantoni

We were very happy with how the owners looked after us. They brought whatever we needed and kept the pool clean, checking chlorine and pH, adding chlorine, and filtering the water. Parking was easy, right next to the house each day, and the neighbors were friendly. Shopping requires a drive; I didn’t see any shops close by, though there’s a Dia, a Mercadona, and a Lidl nearby. The town center is a bit out of the way. There’s a bakery, a pharmacy, and Café Bar 9 nearby. The owner there is incredibly friendly, the waitresses are kind, and they make delicious pizzas. We didn’t care for the tap water and bought bottled water instead, though that’s a matter of taste. There were six of us, four adults and two children, and the rooms worked well for up to two more. There’s an extra bed too, so nine could sleep there in total. The dining room has the only air conditioning, which was much appreciated; at night we barely noticed it was missing from the bedrooms. The fully integrated kitchenette has a standard ceramic stove, oven, dishwasher, and washing machine. The fridge felt a bit small and old-fashioned for the number of guests. The beds are the main drawback: the frames are old and noisy, and one wooden slat on the children’s bed was broken. The house was very quiet, with hardly any noise from outside. At night I occasionally heard a villager’s motorcycle and a small intermittent noise from a neighboring engine, perhaps a water pump or something. It switched on and off all night, so I used earplugs, though the others didn’t notice. The terrace is spacious, and its built-in pool is fine for cooling off and a few laps, but not for swimming laps properly. The covered outdoor table is great for eating outside, even in the rain. Mosquitoes and flies were a big problem as soon as we sat there, though, and they bit us. We only used the barbecue once despite loving to grill, because the bugs spoiled the experience. The tap water wasn’t to our taste, so we bought bottles. I recommend Cam Pantoni if you’re looking for peace and quiet while visiting Deltebre.

This charming little country house was very clean, and the location was ideal, with everything relatively close by.

My friends and I had a very bad experience. The house was quite run-down, there weren’t enough kitchen utensils, and it didn’t even have a simple tablecloth. None of the rooms had ventilation, and in two of them the windows opened onto something like a pantry. The dining room sofas were so badly damaged you couldn’t sit on them, and the shower in the house’s only bathroom was a disaster. The pool was dirty, and we all ended up with rashes all over our bodies and an ear infection.

The property was fully equipped, with three spacious bedrooms and a pool, and it’s a place to spend a couple of relaxing days in the Ebro Delta. The biggest issue was the cleanliness.
