The host was great, but that was the only positive part of our stay. The room was spacious, though its floor was dirty, the sheets were stained, the headboard was grimy, and the cushions had white marks. The mattress was uncomfortable, the blind was broken, and the bathroom was cramped and dirty. The place is very old and felt like a mess. I can't recommend it. For the same cost or just a little more, you can find somewhere decent, especially during these COVID times.

The rates are fair compared with the local average, and the location is handy, close to the town center and right in the Delta. The building feels dated, with small rooms that don't keep sound out well. It’s acceptable for a night’s stay.

Parking around there was easy, and the owner was nice, but the place itself was awful. We thought we'd have a double bed, then only found out on arrival that it was a bunk. They charged the same as for a double, which makes no sense. There was noise all night, and the room had no ventilation. The damp smell was so bad I nearly felt claustrophobic. We only stayed one night, and that was enough. Terrible value. I wouldn't go back or recommend it.

Being right in the middle of the Delta makes it easy to get around in every direction. The AC and mosquito net both worked well, too. But the room smelled really unpleasant, and the noise never let up. There was very little privacy, and our toilet was out in the corridor, which I don't think was mentioned on booking. Ventilation was poor as well. For the quality, it was far too expensive.
