Juan José is one of the guests and seems determined to spend all his time with you, even if you’re travelling alone. He’ll join you in the jacuzzi, even when you’re naked, smoke your Silverado cigars, drink your peach juice, and help himself to the barbecue, despite the rule against firewood. He’ll keep chatting for hours, wake people by banging on the door at dawn, and write you a bad review that could put off other places. He’ll also push you to visit places, book at his restaurant, and turn up in different vehicles. It’s an immersive experience, apparently, and I’d highly recommend it. The service is excellent.

The price feels much too high for what the house offers, and I think it should cost a lot less. We only stayed one night, but it was disappointing for the money. The listing says it sleeps six, yet the rooms connect to each other, and there’s just one bathroom. They provided only one hand towel for everyone, and no coffee capsules on the first day, even though you can’t know in advance what sort of coffee machine will be there. I’m sorry the owner takes feedback so personally instead of learning from it.

The patio in the photos can’t be reached from inside the house. You have to go outdoors and walk around 30 metres to get to it. The pictures also give a misleading impression of the layout: there are three bedrooms, but just one is separate. And there was only one hand towel for four people.

Juanjo was very attentive and clearly explained what there is to do in the delta. The apartment has been fully renovated, with a well-equipped kitchen, and felt very cozy. Its little terrace makes a big difference. Definitely recommended.

The owner is very friendly, and pets are welcome. The house has just been renovated, with everything new, air conditioning and a TV in each room. The kitchen has all the appliances you might need.
