The beach promenade is spectacular and so peaceful, and the area itself is beautiful. But the accommodation was nothing like the photos. The pool tiles were broken, the outdoor shower was clogged and broken, and the sun loungers were very worn. Inside the house was okay, but left a lot to be desired. During one heavy rain, water came in through the front door because it isn’t marble. I called to report it, and they said they didn’t know what to tell me and that it had never happened before. No help at all. The pool was dirty when we arrived. I called, and they did come, but honestly, they’re quick to take your money and gave me zero confidence that they care about making guests comfortable. The mattresses were awful, and cleanliness could be much better. I doubt we’ll use this company’s accommodation again. There are lots of other well-maintained options, so look elsewhere.

The pool was fine, though it could have been cleaner, and when the washing machine broke they replaced it the very next day. La Gaviota 1 is a comfortable house, but it could use quite a few more kitchen and cleaning supplies. We had a good stay overall.

The house itself is really nice, but the mattresses were the worst we’ve ever slept on, and that needs urgent attention. Maintenance in general has been neglected, and the barbecue grills couldn’t be used. We hope they replace the mattresses soon. They need to put more into the property instead of focusing only on profit; guests deserve a proper rest.

There’s very little to do nearby, with few shops and no entertainment, so it might suit people who love nature and turning in at nightfall. The houses are clean and functional, but short on cooking utensils and proper sun loungers, and the pool wasn’t very clean either. The worst part was the mosquito alert, which meant everyone had to be indoors by 8 pm. That made it really unpleasant to enjoy a holiday outside or by the pool.
