Hotel Mas Prades

We stopped in for lunch and really enjoyed it. There are all sorts of paellas, and we tried the duck paella, which was very good. The menu is mostly seafood, with less fish, but the dishes are really tasty. Thanks!

We’ve stayed here twice already and will certainly come back. The rooms are modern, well equipped and a lovely place to enjoy the quiet of the delta. The staff do their best to make you happy throughout your stay, and they succeed. You don’t have to go far for a meal, the restaurant downstairs is very good, especially if you like paella.

The appetizers were fantastic, and the lobster rice was good, though not extraordinary. The service was friendly, but nobody apologized for the huge delay: we waited two hours from ordering until the rice arrived. I wanted to give it a higher rating, but that’s hard to overlook. The place is good, though the kitchen seems undersized. Maybe it’s better when they’re not so full.

We decided to stay because of the good reviews, but we really didn’t feel welcome. The staff barely spoke to us. I’m not very fluent in Spanish, but I tried, and they didn’t speak French or English either. The food was okay, but if tasty means salty, you might like it. Watch out, they charged us for a plate for two without asking. If this is what a traditional place is like, I’ll skip my next trip to Spain.
