The area is nice, but the owner came across as creepy, and the “3 star apartment” title doesn't feel accurate. The rooms don't seem to get much cleaning. I'd put a clean blanket over the mattress, and the pillows and bed really need cleaning too. The bed's thin pad is uncomfortable, and there are no soft places to sit and relax. It's very old school, with no AC, and the room gets hot and humid. Opening the windows helped a little, but there are no screens, so we worried about bugs. If you need a cool room, this probably isn't for you. I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemies.

The location was lovely, with incredible views and a nice pool. My girlfriend and I were hiking in the mountains when the lovely woman at reception gave us some water and let us sit by the pool.

It's very quiet and tranquil here, and the rooms are basic but clean. The staff were pleasant and greeted us warmly. If you're walking, be ready for a long climb up a steep hill to the pension, though the pool is refreshing when you get there.

Matti gave us a five star welcome and service, and was such a good hostess. We had an amazing view of the city and beach. A really good experience, and I'll definitely come back.
