The showers were cold and the food was basic. Dessert was a beautiful-looking apple that was so dry we headed into town to find something else. That’s where we discovered GROENSK, a really good restaurant that saved us from going to bed unsatisfied. Maybe I’m being a bit dramatic, but I’m used to refugis in the Dolomites, and that’s a very different experience. Don’t expect too much!
We got a bed on the spot for 14.28€ a night, since there were still spaces available even without a reservation. The staff were nice and the showers were hot. We’d left it too late to get dinner, so I bought a 3 euro ham and cheese sandwich from the convenience stall farther into town. Nothing to complain about. @whereyiugoing on IG
The rooms had little privacy and weren’t very good. It wasn’t very clean, and the showers were cold. The food was bad too, so we went into town to eat better. There’s plenty of room for improvement.
A friendly staff, a convenient and inexpensive refugi in a charming village. Very nice.
Juan Jo looked after us really well at Can Boi. He learned our names right away and made sure we had plenty of local olives. We loved the warm fire, which was always lit. There’s an old olive oil press preserved at the back of the building, well worth taking a look at. This was our favourite refuge in Traumontana.
