The olive oil class was such a fun part of the stay, and I’m still thinking about Valrhona chocolate with olive oil and sea salt. We also loved the calm, restorative spa. Meals at Tramuntana Grill for lunch and Restaurante Miró for dinner were both excellent, and breakfast came with warm, attentive service. The welcome wine and little nightly treats were lovely too. We arrived early and were invited to use the facilities, including the pool and tennis court. Staff brought us water and a refreshing vitamin C spritz, and our room was ready a couple of hours ahead of time. The generous upgrade came with postcard-worthy views. Every thoughtful touch, right through to the kind gentleman who gave us water for the drive home, made this stay at La Residencia unforgettable. We can’t wait to return to this beautiful place in Deia!

We’ve been back several times for afternoon tea, and once stayed two nights to celebrate my birthday. It’s one of the best hotels we’ve visited. The terrace is a lovely place for tea, with mountain views all around. The service is impeccable and the gardens are wonderful. The whole place feels elegant and classically lovely, almost like stepping into another world.

Jorge, the manager, made our stop at the bar especially memorable. We began indoors, then he kindly found us a lovely table on the terrace. The Old Fashioned was easily the best I’ve ever had. My partner and I had been visiting Deià and were keen to experience La Residencia, A Belmond Hotel.

The meals were fantastic, especially at Miro, though El Olivo was an amazing and really distinctive experience too. My husband and I spent the start of our honeymoon at La Residencia, and the staff made it even better than we’d imagined. They were kind, professional, and genuinely attentive from beginning to end. The property is stunning, and the care in all the little details was unmatched. I couldn’t recommend it more. Worth every penny!

Deia is an amazing mountain village, and this stylish, sophisticated hotel fits right in. It’s romantic in a dreamlike way, and the staff made us feel very welcome. It’s definitely in a high price range, but I thought it was worth every penny.
