The heater warmed the room up quickly, which we appreciated. We stopped for just one night during an eight-hour motorcycle trip to the coast. There were a couple of misunderstandings while paying and again at breakfast the next day, but that was all.

Good value for the quality of the service and facilities.

Juan Carlos, who I think is the owner as well as the manager, was serious but kind and professional. I felt very welcome, especially considering this is a one-star hostel. I'd recommend it.

For 26 euros, Hostal El Paraíso has spacious, comfortable, quiet rooms with good soundproofing. I doubt you'll find better for that price, and the value is unbeatable. People who complain either haven't travelled much or don't know what truly awful accommodation costs. Thanks to Juan Carlos for his hospitality and excellent service.
