After reading the positive reviews, we were excited to stay at this countryside boutique hotel, but it was a huge disappointment. We’d expected a warm welcome and good food; instead check-in felt automatic, the food was inedible, and customer service was terrible. We got very ill and had to leave early, yet the hotel charged us for the full stay even though they knew how sick we were. It felt like taking our money mattered more than looking after guests.

The salon and terrace on the second floor were lovely spots to take in the surrounding countryside. The honor system bar and kitchen helped keep the atmosphere relaxed and responsible. We found the hotel tastefully decorated and well appointed, a carefree base for a weekend away from Madrid and hikes up to los Picos de Urbion. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and there were thoughtful modern touches like an electric vehicle charging point and keyless room entry.

A lovely stay, with great service. Perfect for enjoying nature and getting away from it all.

The peaceful trails nearby were beautiful, and we’ll definitely come back. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here, and they kindly upgraded us to a superior room with wonderful views. The hotel is welcoming and beautifully decorated, such a calm place that you don’t want time to pass. Breakfast was a 10 out of 10, everything they offered tasted exquisite, and our anniversary lunch felt on par with a Michelin-starred restaurant. Thank you for making the celebration unforgettable. Congratulations to Lorena, Elena, and their mother for their kindness and dedication.
