We got turned around in the tiny village when we arrived, and the owners had to talk us to the hotel over the phone. Pretty embarrassing! Then we realized we'd got our ferry time wrong and would miss breakfast, which normally starts at 8am, by an hour. We had no time to stop for food on the way to Bilbao, so we were very grateful when the charming proprietors offered to have cakes and eggs ready at 7. That breakfast was amazing: fresh fruit, cooked meats, cheeses, tortilla, bread, pastries, and yogurt, plus any hot drink you could name. Such a kind thing to do. Lovely place and people. Highly recommended.

The rooms are plain but clean, and the bathroom was surprisingly roomy. The staff were helpful. This has to be one of very few hotels in town, maybe the only one.

Everything was super clean, and the staff were helpful. They also had good COVID precautions in place. Perfect!
