Jose was wonderful to deal with, and the house is beautifully decorated and feels just right for getting away from everything. I stayed for work at Casita El Cobre, and the location was ideal. Everything else was perfect, though I might swap out the toaster since it’s a bit inconvenient. Highly recommended.

We’ll definitely come back. The little house was cozy and lovely, and José Maria, the manager, paid close attention to what we needed. It’s such a peaceful, harmonious place.

The house was completely uninhabitable after fire extinguisher chemicals covered everything, and we had to wait before collecting our belongings and leaving. The owner offered us no alternative, then refused to refund the night we didn’t stay or compensate us for reaching a hotel halfway to our destination at 1:20 a.m. His suggested response was to GIVE US OTHER CLEAN BLANKETS. THEY SET OUR HOUSE ON FIRE AND THEY REFUSE TO REFUND OUR MONEY. We could have been set on fire, and I would never recommend any of this gentleman’s properties. This happened on January 1st. We lit a small fireplace at about 9 pm, but it went out soon after, and we’d barely used it because we had air conditioning. Around an hour later, EMBERS started dropping from the ceiling. A wooden panel caught fire because the flue wasn’t installed properly and the ceiling joint wasn’t fully airtight. We called the fire department, and they had to use water to put it out completely. We urge any neighbors who were there to contact us. This is unacceptable. UPDATE: You say I’m lying, but you haven’t mentioned the same “incident” had already happened in the house next door after those guests had checked out. I hope you and other readers understand we wouldn’t misuse the service or file a complaint. We were perfectly polite when you left us outside, since we understood you were away on a trip and all your houses were occupied. For one night, you’re selfishly and unjustifiably forcing us to pursue other ways to seek redress. If you have anything else to say, please do it by telephone, since you haven’t even deigned to speak to us to ask how we’re doing.

The area was lovely, and there’s a greenway just a few meters from the house, which was fantastic. We loved our stay. The house was spacious, super comfortable, clean, and really well equipped. We’ll be back.
