Azuline Hotel Bahamas

The worst part of our stay was finding out that staff had filmed our room without permission and shared the video on WhatsApp, commenting disrespectfully on our belongings. Our underwear was visible in it. This was a shocking invasion of privacy, and I’ve never encountered hotel staff behaving so unprofessionally. We also went days without proper room cleaning, even after asking. To get fresh sheets or toilet paper, we had to beg at reception. I submitted a complaint over a month ago and still haven’t received an answer. The stay was very disappointing.

My daughter especially loved the kids’ activities, and the children’s pool was a real plus. The beach is also just a short walk away. Our room was clean and well looked after, and the staff were kind and helpful. I enjoyed the tasty food, with plenty of variety and particularly good dinners. I was very happy staying at Azuline Hotel Bahamas and would recommend it to families with children, and others too.

The restaurant team made eating gluten free easy for me and my daughter. They came around with us at every meal and knew their stuff. We’re quite sensitive, but had no issues, and there was loads of choice. We loved our short all-inclusive break and wished we could have stayed longer. The location was perfect and the staff were amazing. Some parts of the hotel feel dated, though everything was very clean. The pool gets little sun before midday, and a few more loungers would help. Apart from that, we’d definitely come back.

The rooms were clean and nice, but the food let things down. The meat was often raw and needed longer cooking, it was inedible. Cocks crow all day, so with the window open it’s hard to sleep at night. The elevator mirrors were dirty, and the cocktails didn’t taste like good quality drinks. Even if you pick one from the list, you get a low-quality version instead. There’s no ashtray on the balcony.
