The room was easily the best-value hostel stay I've had, and the service was great. Before I arrived, they communicated well to make sure check-in would be on time. I flew from the UK to the Santander area for a weekend and had a great experience. With the C3 train between Santander and the mountains, the hostel also makes it easy to visit nearby beaches and explore inland caves over a weekend.
A basic room, but it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The place was quiet, and the bathroom was shared. Good value for the money.

We stayed two nights. Although scheduling meant we didn't meet the owners, the room was clean and had the amenities we needed. They left a welcome kit with a thermos, bottled water, coffee sachets, tea, hot chocolate, pastries and juices. We didn't hear any noise.
