Francesca is a wonderful chef, and she and Elena make a great kitchen team. Andreas was a lovely host too. I liked the place so much that I’ve already been twice in one month. I’d expected a lot from the reviews and wasn’t disappointed. It already feels like home, and I’m sure I’ll come back.

Breakfast came as a set menu, with fresh fruit, yogurt, toastada, and freshly squeezed fruit drinks. We ate on the terrace beside the pomegranate trees, which was such a peaceful start to the day. The rooms were simple but clean, with working air conditioning and hot water. We opened the windows one night to listen to the thunderstorms, and the fly screens came in handy. My husband and I had booked for Thursday and Friday because of the place’s connection with the Sierra Espuna adventures, though we later learned those adventures had gone solo. We loved our stay. Friday and Saturday morning were busier, but it stayed tranquil throughout. We tried the restaurant’s set menu on our first night, and the food was amazing with outstanding service. They said they grow much of the food themselves, and some things, including olive oil, were available to buy. Other guests spoke warmly of the location and hotel, and it seemed like many were repeat visitors. I’d happily return and recommend it.

We were welcomed so kindly by the hosts. The rooms were great, the scenery beautiful, and the whole place wonderfully quiet and peaceful. Just a lovely stay, and one I’d strongly recommend.
